Myelinated Campout Update August 23–26, 2026

Hi, everyone!

We are excited about our upcoming family trip to Sun Lakes from August 23 through August 26, 2026.

We have confirmed ten cabins for the trip. The cabins are currently full, but Sun Lakes has additional campsites available for family members who would still like to participate.

Get ready for canoeing, e-bikes, water activities, camping, relaxation, and quality family time in nature!

We contacted the resort regarding the recent fires, smoke, and travel conditions. At the time of the call, the resort reported that conditions were clear and Interstate 90 was open. We will continue checking conditions as the trip approaches.

The Outdoor Equity Coalition has committed $1,800 in grant funding to support this experience. We need to finalize the participant list immediately so that cabins, equipment, food, transportation, and grant resources are fully used.

Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible.

When confirming, include:

  • The number of people in your family group
  • Your arrival and departure dates
  • Whether you have a cabin or need a campsite
  • Transportation needs
  • Food allergies
  • Camping equipment needs
  • Any additional support your family may require

We are looking forward to enjoying nature, reconnecting as a family, and creating an amazing Sun Lakes experience together!
